Darwin Ensemble

The Darwin Ensemble String Quartet (DESQ) is rehearsing, recording and performing new works by school children in St Giles Cathedral, Edinburgh on Thursday 28th Feb.

The idea behind this workshop is to give young student composers the chance to work with a professional string quartet. They will learn how best to put their ideas down on paper so that performers can bring them to life in concert.

The sessions will be recorded for future use, whether that be for examination course work or simply for posterity.
