Darwin Ensemble

The Darwin Ensemble is a chamber group comprising a wide range of instruments. The ensemble usually includes a string quartet which also performs in its own right. This flexibility enables the ensemble to provide varied and creative programming.

Recent concerts include Handel's Messiah (Part 1) and Corelli's Christmas Concerto for Lichfield Cathedral Choir's "Christmas Cracker" Concert.

The Darwin Ensemble String Quartet (DESQ) held a highly successful workshop alongside Scottish composer Ken Dempster with young composers in St Giles Cathedral, Edinburgh.
