Darwin Ensemble

DECO will be taking part in the Classic FM charity Christmas Concert, in association with John Lewis, at Lichfield Cathedral.

Joining us at this very unique medieval church (the only Cathedral in the country with three spires), are The Choir of Lichfield Cathedral, with their organist Martyn Rawles and their Master of Music Philip Scriven.

The special guests for the evening will be Howard Goodall, Classic FM's Composer in Residence. This concert will be the premiere performance of Howard's new Christmas works, recorded and performed with his Enchanted Voices group. Hosting the concert will be Classic FM "Requests" presenter Jamie Crick.

Our Christmas concert series with John Lewis is in support of Classic FM's Music Makers charity, which aims to transform lives through the power of classical music. This year they are raising money to fund music education projects for disadvantaged children across the UK, and to date have touched the lives of over 10,000 children, using classical music to inspire children, help develop confidence and boost self esteem.
